Question: How can Nutella be considered a good thing for a person to eat for Breakfast when the 1st Ingredient is Sugar?

( Back )

Answer #1:

its not. I'm in shock when I hear these commercials where its described as a healthy snack. are people that messed up about nutrition they might actually believe the commercials?

Student- are you aware that ingredient labels list the ingredients from most to least? If sugar is the first ingredient this means that there is more sugar than anything else.

Answer #2:

the hazelnuts can actually raise people from the dead.

Answer #3:

A cup of tea contains sugar...it's ok in small quantities.

Answer #4:

People will believe anything is true if someone says it on a commercial or on the label of a product.

"Don't eat anything with a health claim" is what a Nutriton professor always told us. While that's not true in all cases (i.e. oatmeal has a claim it *may* help lower heart disease), most of the products you see on the shelves are no more nutritious than the packaging.

Eat real, whole foods. Not too much, not too little.

Answer #5:

its sugar yes but everything has sugar things in certain amounts isn't bad so just don't go crazy with the stuff but little of it not bad

Answer #6:

gives you energy for the day. its not bad as long as you make a good balanced meal with milk for protein and whole grain bread. together you have protein, fat and some fiber. and sure it might not be good for someone whos dieting but its fine for regular people like myself. everythings fine in moderation.

Answer #7:

Yeah, they are just trying to tell you it is healthy when it is really just a treat.
