Question: The Dream Act. Your oppinions?
( Back )
Answer #1:
The Constitution is the original "dream act". I suppose we should follow the law of the land before attempting to pass any further unconstitutional legislation. why change laws when the laws that already exist are not being enforced? Enforce the laws that already exist!!!!Answer #2:
The "Nightmare Act" is just that.A horrible dream, and when you wake up , you realise none of it was real and none of it ever happened!
Answer #3:
I think it makes no sense to spend over $100,000 to educate this kids in K-12 and then throw them all out, even the smartest amongst them, into low-wage paying jobs or deportation because of something their parents did. This is America. We do not blame the sons for the sins of their fathers. That's from the bible.
Answer #4:
The dream act is only a dream for illegals, it adversely effects American kids in school so I'm against it.It has been brought up soooooooooooooo many times, I don't see it passing anytime soon. And one things for sure, if there were ever a time for the dream act to be shot down, it's now with SB 1070.
I actually think SB 1070 will hurt even further any attempts to pass the dream act. That's OK with me.
Answer #5:
I know you asked for no hateful answers, but as you can see, the pro-crime racist Mexican couldn't help himself.I will apologize for him, it's in his culture to hate (and break laws)
Answer #6:
the only part that should be implemented is the military service part and change it from 2 to 4 years of service. Also lower the age from 16 to 12.Answer #7:
I think it's VERY racist of you to support the Dream Act.Answer #8:
Whoa, no kidding, your a racist, I haven't seen someone as racist as you in a while here.Shame on you girl.
Answer #9:
I am supportive of it on principle, but most Dream act have language that I do not support added to it. First off, they need to make sure that those who recieve the dream act would not aid in any way their parents in staying. The kids are innocent, but their parents are not. the age groups that can recieve it, seems to large, and the politician of people of good standing is way too large. 2 year college seems to short, and definetely equivalent to 2 years in teh military. I do not like the idea of in state tuition. I am willing to live with some of the flaws.I am supportive of Arizona's law, but I see some flaws in the language, but mostly on how the training program, but then again < i don't trust what I saw since it's in piece work. I am fustrated on those who are spreading lies about the law.
Answer #10:
I am against illegals getting anything. I am against the dream/nightmare act. I am against illegals being educated in this country and all they have done is make me more determined to fight against them. As a teacher, no illegal should be in our school.Few Americans are criminals, all illegals are criminals.
Answer #11:
You mean the bill from 1997 that was kicked out and was never even debated. There are 1000s of peices of legislation like that that are put forward every year and are never even considered.
Its not even on the table.
